For three generations, the Wrobleski family has believed that being a local business means taking responsibility for our community. Our Community Buy Back Program is a direct extension of that commitment, ensuring that usable materials from your Greater Pennsylvania home remodeling project don’t go to waste.
Specifically, we partner with Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity (and homeowners like you!) to turn old windows and doors into new opportunities for local families. To date, this partnership has successfully salvaged and donated over 200 windows to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, keeping functional materials in use and out of the dump.
How The Community Buy Back Program Works
You don’t have to throw your old windows and doors in a landfill! They can have a much more impactful fate. We’ll take a look at your old units to see if they still have some life left in them. If they do, we “buy them back” from you by handling the donation process to Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity.

The Lifecycle Of Your Donation
Instead of wasting materials in a landfill, we carefully transport your old units to the Greensburg ReStore. They are sold to local families to fund affordable housing right here in our community. It’s an easy way to do some good while we upgrade your home:
- Easy Tax Credits: You’ll receive a tax-deductible donation form directly from Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity.
- A “Second Life” for Materials: We remove units with care so they’re ready for another family to use.
- Keeping it Local: Every cent earned at the ReStore stays in Westmoreland County to help our neighbors.
Leaving Greater Pittsburgh Better Than We Found It
Our work leaves Westmoreland County better than we found it. Here is how we stay active in the community.
Keeping Materials Out Of Landfills
Most remodeling projects generate tons of waste. Our Buy Back program diverts functional materials away from the dump and back into the local economy. This provides budget-friendly supplies for other homeowners while protecting the Greater Pittsburgh environment.
Hands-On With Habitat For Humanity
Our partnership goes beyond hauling away old windows. We also provide our expert installation services for local builds. To date, we have donated more than $25,000 in professional labor to Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity, ensuring our neighbors in need have access to the same high-performance results as our paying customers.
The “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” Mission
We have lived and worked here since 1975. Every project that uses the Buy Back Program keeps the value of those materials right here in our community. We believe a local business should strengthen its own neighborhood, not just its bottom line.
